MADRES FASTBALLS
For the month of April, 2008, the Madres had 98 volunteer hours. We handed out Frequent Friar Brochures, filled goodie bags for the Padres, and worked on a Padre Corporate Mailing. Already the total hours for the year are 509 hours. Madre volunteers during the year participate in Padre Corporate Mailings, assist with the Padre Garage Sale at the Friar Fest, sell Dugout Seat tickets at the Padre games, hand out Compadre Brochures when asked by the Padres, sell scratcher tickets for Shirts Off Their Backs at the end of the season, assist KUSI with their Songs of the Holidays presented by students of local schools, sell food and craft items at December Nights in Balboa Park and provide food and craft items at Snow Day..
