COME JOIN US! Madres have lots of
fun while raising money to support
Meetings During the season, Padre managers, coaches, players and broadcasters are often the guest speakers at the Madres luncheons which are usually held once a month during the baseball season. A youth player from one of our sponsored leagues is also featured at the luncheon. The location of the meeting has been changed to Hall of Champions, located in Balboa Park. A lively question and answer period is a favorite part of each luncheon. On-the-Road Again Each year, the Madres make the trek to Arizona to watch the Padres in Spring Training. We spend one weekend in Peoria where depending upon the schedule, we see as many as three Padres games. During the season, we root on the Padres in nearby Major League parks. Over the years, we've gone to Phoenix, Los Angeles, Anaheim, San Francisco, Houston, and Denver to support our Padres. The Padres usually win the games the Madres attend on the road. We also travel to minor league games at Lake Elsinore to see the Padres of the future. We always spot a great prospect or two.
